Secure Domain Manager and Secure Domain Connector (SDM

and SDC) Known Anomalies

The following table describes known Secure Domain Manager (SDM) and Secure Domain

Connector (SDC) anomalies:

Description

Solution

After failover, when the connection is restored to the

Primary SDC, traps are not forwarded by the Primary

SDC. They are still forwarded by the Secondary SDC.

Restart the Primary SDC.

When SDM is in accept mode and the backup SDC is

using a non-default port, the backup SDC fails to

connect to the SDM.

Do not use non-standard ports. Returning to the Primary

SDC will correct the OneClick display.

Models change to "Directly Managed" when the

Primary SDC is changed in OneClick .

Returning to the Primary SDC corrects the OneClick

display.

No errors are written to the log file when a port

conflict is detected.

Alarms/Events are not generated when SDM and SDC

have communication issues.

Deleted SDC IP addresses appear in OneClick.

The following warning is frequently observed in the

log file: "Warning: sendSnmpError, uid…, code 5"

occurs when "loglevel is not set (default setting)".

Certificate Changes do not take effect automatically.

Restart the SpectroSERVER, and restart the SDC.
